Blue Mountain Bistro-to-Go in Woodstock, NY

Our opinion

This has been a “go-to” for us since we purchased our home in Woodstock in 2017. A great option for catering if you’re planning to eat in one night with a large group. This place is also great for grab and go sandwiches and other dishes on your way for a hike or a drive. They have prepared dishes every day and specials every day. They have a market as well where they sell local goods. There’s also a bakery connected that sells cakes, cookies and pastries.

You can go for anything from their daily dinner specials to simple things like tuna salad and chicken salad. They usually have a bunch of great sides like potatoes and broccoli and simple things like chicken fingers and other items that are easy to heat up and enjoy with your guests.

Blue Mountain Bistro-to-Go is located on Route 28 and it’s about a five minute drive from the house. Heads up, they are closed on Mondays. Also important to know that this is not a great place to go out to eat. This is really more for grab and go, take out or catering.
